The timber logs at Matica Plywood are sustainably procured f rom Agro Forestry timber plantations that do not harm the environment. Staying true to our ethos, we ethically source Agro Forestry timber from the fertile lands of Punjab. This inturn has zero dependency on the natural green covers.

Health & Safety

At Matica Ply, we’ve created an in house resin that has low formaldehyde emissions which are in accordance with European standards. These emit minimal harmful chemicals, improving indoor air quality and contributing to a healthier environment.

Our vision for a better future

Matica Plywood has taken proactive steps in supporting green initiatives that protects and restores Earth’s natural systems, including planting trees to reverse climate breakdown. Investments in planting trees today will not only pay dividends for future generations, but we also dream about bringing back the ecosystem for native animals and birds.

Giving back to the Nature

We have collaborated with the farmers in Mysore for this initiative, and plan to continue this to other parts of Southern India to re-establish the greenery.

Matica is a leader and a driving force for change in the transition from importing tropical timber to using sustainable, local raw materials.

We use local wood, mainly poplar, pine and eucalyptus from European plantations mostly located in Spain and France.

Matica rural locations generate employment and improve the quality of life in local environments. Our centres are mostly located in towns with less than 5,000 inhabitants and generate secure jobs, stabilise the population, increase local services and improve infrastructure in the area
